Renault 496 ZF APL 3052

Bonjour,

The Renault 496 has a ZF APl 3052 frontaxle
According the information I have it is original delivered on 11.2 R24 at the front and 12.4 R38 or 13.6 R38 at the rear.
The ZF frontaxle has a 10.0 reduction, does that mean the driveshaft of the frontaxle turns one, the frontwheels does turn 10 revolutions?
That 10.0 is the reduction in the frontaxle, my question is what is the reduction in the gearbox of the tractor?

And has the 498 the same frontaxle as the 496? So also the ZF APL 3052 with 10.0 reduction?

Bonjour,

La monte de pneumatiques sur ce tracteur n’est pas acceptable car prépondérance avant de 9 %.
A l’origine ce tracteur 496 était prévu avec les pneumatiques suivants 9.5-24 et 16.9-34 avec prépondérance de 1 % ou 9.5-2 et 13.6-38 avec prépondérance 2,6 %.
A l’origine le tracteur 498 était prévu avec les pneumatiques suivants 11.2-24 et 16.9-38 avec prépondérance de 0,5 %.
La prépondérance positive doit être comprise entre 0 et 5 %, idéale entre 2 et 4 %.
Le rapport de synchronisme de ces 2 tracteurs 496 et 498 est 1,5440.

Assembles of this tires on this tractor is not acceptable bus preponderance over 9%. With the origin this tractor 496 was envisaged with the following tires 9.5-24 and 16.9-34 with preponderance of 1% or 9.5-2 and 13.6-38 with preponderance 2,6%. With the origin tractor 498 was envisaged with the tires following 11.2-24 and 16.9-38 with preponderance of 0,5%. The positive preponderance must lie between 0 and 5%, ideal between 2 and 4%. The report/ratio of synchronism of these 2 tractors 496 and 498 is 1,5440.

Thank you for your reply.
I can not find at this moment where I found the information I write about the tyres, but I thought that was the right.
The tractor is now on 11.2 R24 in combination with 16.9 r38.
The gear ratio is the same you say from the 496 and 498, is the frontaxle also the same? Than I can keep this tyres on the tractor. I thought it was not the right combination

Les ponts avant sont identiques sur les 2 tracteurs Renault 496 et 498.
Les bonnes montes de pneumatiques sont celles indiquées dans mon précédent message :
- 9.5-24 avec 16.9-34,
- 9.5-24 avec 13.6-38,
- 11.2-24 avec 16.9-38.

The front axles are identical on the 2 tractors Renault 496 and 498. The maid assemble tires are those indicated in my preceding message: - 9.5-24 with 16.9-34, - 9.5-24 with 13.6-38, - 11.2-24 with 16.9-38.
