Le dernier Tracteur portant la marque Renault

Greetings from England! I am so sorry, my French is very poor, so please excuse me if I write in English "Le dernier Tracteur portant la marque Renault est sorti de chaîne le 24/11/2009" Does anyone know what will become of this tractor? will it be sold or go to a museum! I am sure it has become a collectors item already . I used to own a 781s. It was a wonderful little tractor, apparently only 1107 of those were built! When we sold the farm, it went into the sale. I wish now I had kept it. As far as I know it went to back to France. If anyone comes across a 781s ( serial number 9162443 ) it used to be mine

It's a real pleasure for us to have a british friend of Renault tractors.
The last Renault tractor built on this week will be sold to a customer. I would think for it, the best place would be in a museum, but no!
We have note than your Renault Tractor 781 serial number 9162443 was your own tractor and when you sold it, it came back in France. So we'll wrote a message on this webside to have news of your tractor. oK?

Appel à tous les collectionneurs et amis du tracteur Renault.
Nous venons de recevoir un message d'un ami anglais "Roy_H" qui a été utilisateur d'un tracteur Renault 781 S N° de série 9 162 443 qui aurait été retourné en France lorsque notre ami a vendu sa ferme avec le cheptel. Roy regrette maintenant de s'être séparé de son "merveilleux petit tracteur"!
Si quelqu'un connait ou est amené à rencontrer ce tracteur merci de nous en faire part ou de le signaler directement à notre ami Roy. Je pense que cela lui ferait grans plaisir d'avoir des nouvelles de son tracteur. Merci d'avance.

I would like to think she HAD gone to a good home, Even Better, if it HAD ITS Been restored to glory train (It Was in very good condition, event after 12 years of use) Purpose If You Find It and It Is a total wreck, I do not want to see it! It Used to pull a 6.3 m spring tine cultivator Kverneland (63 tines) in 4th gear middle range, with ease, up and down hills no smoke whatsoever. I ploughed using a 4 furrow Kverneland plow 35cm (later Replaced with a 3 furrow reversible 40cm). I Have Some pics of me somewhere Baling with a big round baler Claas 62, Which Was no problem for the tractor. (My Neighbours 75 hp Massey Ferguson Baling Used To Have Difficulty With A Claas round baler 44!)

It was 27 years ago ( How time flies) when we bought the tractor brand new. I have been looking at examples on the internet and I notice how well even old and tired looking 781s tractors seem to hold their resale value well ( They want much more money for them than ours made at the farm sale! ) How I regret not keeping it. She would have been a collectors item now
